Hello, I'm Hallie. I just did my DTS six months ago, and my life was totally transformed and changed. A really cool story from that is on outreach. I really was struggling with boldness in EV [?], and I feel like the Lord told me to go up and talk to someone with a red hijab. For one of the times, I went up to everyone, and they said no, and the next day, I was super discouraged. But then I saw someone out of the corner of my eye, and I went up to talk to her.
I was able to share the love of Jesus with her and had a really good conversation. I got to meet up with her multiple times over my stay and got to read the Bible with her and share the gospel. That was just kind of a testimony of taking simple steps of obedience to Jesus, even when it's hard.
And one of the reasons I wanted to come back to staff is because I believe that this generation has the power to bring the gospel to the nations. We are all called to the Great Commission, and I want to see young people empowered and transformed by Jesus and then take that to the places that don't know Jesus.
